The summer quarter; lots of family time, travel, and plenty of time at home, too.
The market has been moving positively through summer, with our agents noting a pleasing increase in open-home attendances, more negotiations per property, and some strong sales results feeding through as well.
There have been some major market movements in Bungendore and the surrounding areas. A residential record sales price was achieved at 79 Trucking Yard land in Bungendore late last year, setting the Bungendore residential sales record at $2,100,000. How exciting for our community to see properties of this calibre, and congratulations to the owners and buyers of this stunning home.
This isn’t the end of interesting and exciting sales, the Molonglo Observatory Synthesis Telescope changing hands at auction with some amazing historic infrastructure in place, 52 Newington Road setting expectations high for gardens even through these hot summer months, and our highest sale price over the quarter was 275 Mulligans Flat Road selling in the mid 2m’s.
There are many buyers out and about at the moment, and it’s been exciting for our team to see so many new faces looking to make this area their new home. We are seeing strong demand for residential homes that are ready to move into, lifestyle properties that allow for families and hobbies, and a lot of buzz around affordable homes that new owners can renovate and make their own.
